These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the M-Pesa Statement Converter and any related services provided by Cheche Technologies ("Cheche", "we", "us") at chechetech.co.ke. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.
Cheche provides a tool that converts Safaricom M-Pesa PDF statements into Excel files, including transaction summaries, charts, payee analysis, and category breakdowns. The service does not move, hold, or have access to your actual M-Pesa funds — it only reads and reformats statement data that you choose to upload.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal right to access the M-Pesa statement you upload (i.e. it is your own statement, or you have authorisation from its owner) to use this service.

Payments are processed via M-Pesa STK Push through Safaricom's Daraja API. By initiating a payment, you authorise the deduction of the stated amount from your M-Pesa account upon entering your M-Pesa PIN. Cheche does not store your M-Pesa PIN at any point.
Cheche extracts and reformats data exactly as it appears in your PDF statement. While we strive for 100% accuracy in extraction, Cheche is a formatting and analysis tool, not a financial, legal, or tax advisory service. You should independently verify any figures before relying on them for financial decisions, loan applications, tax filings, or legal purposes. Cheche is not liable for decisions made based on the converted output.
Where your statement includes Fuliza (overdraft) transactions, Cheche separates these from your core cash flow figures to give you a clearer picture of your actual income and expenditure. This is a presentational convenience and does not constitute financial advice regarding your use of Fuliza or any other credit facility.
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance, upgrades, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
The Cheche name, logo, and the converter's design and code are the property of Cheche Technologies. You may not copy, resell, or white-label the service without a Business tier agreement or written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Cheche Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial loss, data loss, or business interruption.
We may suspend or terminate access to the service for any user found to be in violation of these Terms, including fraudulent payment activity or attempts to abuse the free tier.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
